Executive Director, Policy and Community Add expected salary to your profile for insights Location: AdelaideClassification: SAES2Duration: Up to 3 yearsVacancy Type: Full TimeNumber of Positions Available: 1Closing Date: 11:30pm, Sunday 1st February 2026 About the Opportunity The Executive Director, Policy and Community provides leadership for the Justice Policy and Analytics and Strategic Communications business units, which provide advice and support to the Attorney-General, the department, and the broader justice system. These business units are also responsible for delivering corporate responsibilities relating to the Closing the Gap, Reconciliation Action Plan, Gender Equality Action Plan, White Ribbon Workplace Accreditation, the Disability Access and Inclusion Plan and the Suicide Prevention Plan. The position provides support and administrative assistance to the offices of the Ombudsman, Public Advocate, Public Trustee, the Commissioner for Equal Opportunity, the Office for Public Integrity, and the Commissioner for Victims' Rights, which aim to protect the rights of the public. The position oversees the administration of grant and contract funding to government and community based organisations, including Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations. About the Business The Attorney-General's Department (AGD) promotes justice by protecting the rights of all South Australians, holding people to account according to the law, improving safety, and contributing to an efficient and fair justice system.
