At Assured Care Solutions, we’re seeking a Clinical Nurse Consultant to join our high‑performing in‑office team that leads excellence in clinical training, support, and oversight across our Accommodation and Community services. About the Role As a Clinical Nurse Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in managing and delivering high‑quality, evidence‑based, client‑specific training under the NDIS high‑intensity descriptors. You will support staff in managing complex health needs of our NDIS participants, ensuring high quality care and clinical compliance, and contribute to the development and implementation of our growing community nursing program. You’ll work collaboratively across teams, conduct home‑based client visits, and liaise with allied health and medical professionals to ensure safe and effective care delivery. This is a dynamic and rewarding role where you can apply your nursing expertise to improve the lives of people with disability while mentoring a workforce committed to quality care. Key Responsibilities Clinical Training & Support Design & maintain online competency‑based training including medication management, manual handling, and high‑intensity supports (e.g., PEG, NGT, BGL, catheter care, seizure management). Ensuring training packages are in line with industry best practices & are tailored to client‑specific needs. Conduct on‑site, one‑on‑one client‑specific clinical training to ensure practical competency for workers delivering high‑intensity support. Support the development and implementation of ACS’s community‑based nursing program. Review policies and procedures offering clinical expertise and insight for improvement. Provide clinical support such as wound care, catheter care, complex bowel care & more to NDIS participants living in their homes within the community. Clinical Oversight & Consultation Review and advise on client‑specific health plans, incident reports, and medication errors. Collaborate in multi‑disciplinary teams to ensure holistic, person‑centred care. Liaise with prescribers and allied health professionals to optimise clinical outcomes. Quality & Compliance Undertake clinical documentation audits and ensure staff compliance with NDIS standards. Maintain accurate records in line with privacy, infection control, and medication safety protocols. Provide leadership in clinical governance and continuous quality improvement initiatives. What You’ll Bring Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor of Nursing and current AHPRA registration. Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain). Current Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel for home visits. Skills & Attributes Strong clinical knowledge, particularly in disability and community care. Confident educator and communicator across a range of audiences. Detail‑oriented with a commitment to best practice, safety, and compliance.
