Center Director

We are a warm, child‑centred early learning service built on the belief that every child shines in their own way. We focus on individual learning journeys, strong relationships, and creating a safe, nurturing environment for children, families, and educators. We are entering an exciting new phase with a near new centre and are seeking an experienced and values‑driven Centre Director to lead our Beaconsfield service and play a key role in shaping its future. The Opportunity As the Centre Director you will be a visible, hands‑on leader who enjoys being present in the centre, supporting educators, building strong relationships with families, and driving operational excellence. This is a role for someone who enjoys leading people, building culture, and creating momentum. You will have the autonomy to lead the centre while being supported by an engaged ownership team that values quality, transparency, and long‑term success. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop a stable, engaged and high‑performing team Deliver a safe, high‑quality education program aligned to EYLF, NQS and NQF Drive occupancy growth through family engagement and community connection Oversee centre operations, compliance, and quality improvement Coach, mentor and develop educators at all stages of their careers Prepare and lead the centre through Assessment & Rating Build strong relationships with families, the local community and stakeholders About You Minimum 5 years experience as a Centre Director / Centre Manager Diploma and/or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved) Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQF, National Quality Standards and Regulations Proven leadership and people‑management skills Experience leading a centre through Assessment & Rating (highly regarded) Confident communicator with strong personal presentation Current Working With Children Check (VIC) Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma management certifications Full Australian work rights Why Join Us Opportunity to lead a centre with strong growth potential Supportive ownership with a clear vision and long‑term commitment Genuine opportunity to make a meaningful impact Competitive salary package based on experience A positive, respectful and child‑first culture #J-18808-Ljbffr
