Job Title: Project Manager

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to manage projects from initialization to completion, ensuring delivery meets project schedule, budget, and quality.

About the Role
  • Manage and track project plans and prioritization of projects.
  • Deliver systems solutions to business units in accordance with agreed specifications, scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Assess business impact and track business readiness alongside technical readiness.
  • Track and drive issues/risks and their resolution/mitigation steps.
  • Manage change requests and associated costs during the project phase.
  • Manage project stakeholders and Project Owner/Champion.
  • Institute controls/governance into Projects to ensure adherence to Astro policies.
  • Perform due diligence to ensure quality of project deliverables through reviews and acceptance tests.
  • Highlight cross-project and/or program dependencies and liaise with other Project Managers and stakeholders if necessary.
  • Provide periodic status updates to stakeholders and Project Owner/Champion.
  • Motivate and recognize project team members for their contributions.
  • Provide performance feedback of project team members to functional managers.
  • Act as a mediator to resolve conflicts between project team, vendors, Project Owner/Champion, SMEs, etc.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong project management skills, including experience with project planning, risk management, and issue tracking.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate project teams, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools, such as Agile or Waterfall.
  • A strong understanding of business processes and systems, with the ability to analyze and improve them.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • A degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in project management.
