We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Full Stack Magento Developer to join our e-commerce development team. In this role, you will be integral in building and maintaining robust, scalable Magento-based e-commerce solutions. Your strong front-end and back-end expertise, along with your ability to lead technical initiatives, will help shape the direction of our platform.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical solutions that enhance user experience and meet business goals.
- Develop, customize, and maintain Magento-based e-commerce websites, including theme integration, module development, and back-end enhancements.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and Magento development guidelines to maintain high-quality deliverables.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and bugs in Magento applications, providing effective solutions that align with business operations.
- Implement and manage third-party integrations and extensions to enhance e-commerce functionality across various channels.
- Optimize website performance, including page load times, responsiveness, and scalability, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Stay informed about Magento updates, security patches, and industry best practices, ensuring timely upgrades and compliance with standards.
- Collaborate closely with Solutions Architects to design and implement technical solutions that align with the overall architecture of the platform.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand the business context and assess how technical solutions impact users and business operations.
- Document technical solutions and contribute to knowledge sharing within the development team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Magento Developer or Engineer, with a strong portfolio demonstrating both front-end and back-end capabilities.
- In-depth knowledge of Magento best practices, architecture patterns, and design principles.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on delivering effective technical solutions that address business needs.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish, with the ability to engage effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn business contexts and understand the implications of technical solutions on users and operations.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of marketplace e-commerce is a plus.
