We are seeking an Associate with solid and comprehensive legal training and experience to join our civil and insurance litigation team at our Lima office. Lima Office Our Lima office provides specialist insurance legal services to local and international insurers and reinsurers and advises companies from various sectors on commercial, corporate, administrative, regulatory and civil matters. The Civil and Insurance Litigation team handles disputes at all levels, both local and cross-jurisdictional, related to insurance, reinsurance corporate and commercial matters. Our main areas of expertise include participation in civil proceedings related to insurance and reinsurance coverage arising from large and complex claims, as well as out-of-court negotiations, filing of claims, and analysis and design of administrative and civil strategies. Required Experience 5+ years' litigation experience* (counted from the date of admission to the bar). Experience handling all phases of civil litigation and administrative proceedings. Experience in arbitration and negotiation, both judicial and extrajudicial. Experience handling administrative proceedings at all stages. Previous client contact and attendance at business development events. Bilingual in English** and Spanish. * where a level of experience is indicated, this is a guideline only and represents the amount of time we would usually expect a candidate to accumulate the requisite level of experience.
