Position Summary The Logistic Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing the flow of LiuGong Machinery Peru’s imports, exports, and local distribution of heavy equipment, spare parts, and components. This role ensures timely delivery, compliance with customs regulations, and efficient inventory management to support sales and after‑sales operations. What you will do Import & Export Coordination Manage international shipments of machinery and spare parts. Ensure compliance with Peruvian customs regulations and international trade requirements. Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and suppliers to guarantee timely clearance and delivery. Local Distribution & Warehousing Coordinate deliveries to clients and dealers across Peru. Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatch of equipment and parts. Monitor inventory levels and ensure accuracy in stock records. Documentation & Compliance Prepare and review shipping documents, invoices, and customs declarations. Ensure compliance with LiuGong’s internal policies and Peruvian trade laws. Maintain accurate records for audits and reporting. Process Optimization Identify opportunities to reduce logistics costs and improve efficiency. Implement best practices in supply chain management. Support digitalization and ERP/CRM integration for logistics processes. Cross‑Functional Collaboration Work closely with sales, service, and finance teams to align logistics with business needs. Provide updates on shipment status and resolve delivery issues. Support after‑sales service by ensuring spare parts availability. What you bring Background: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, International Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and logistics software. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or import/export operations (preferably in heavy machinery, automotive, or industrial sectors). Skills: Strong knowledge of Peruvian customs regulations and international trade. Fluent in Spanish; English proficiency highly desirable. Competences: Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Customer‑oriented mindset with attention to detail.
