Director of Inbound Operations

Lead and oversee all aspects of the inbound operations process, ensuring the seamless procurement of products from contract manufacturers. With a focus on optimizing supply chain efficiency, inventory management, and order fulfillment, the Director of Inbound Operations will play a pivotal role in our continued growth and success. Key Responsibilities: Procurement: Manage and lead procurement activities related to contract manufacturers and key suppliers, focusing on securing optimal pricing, lead times, and service levels. Work closely with cross-functional teams including Product Development, Quality and Demand Planning to ensure procurement strategies align with company goals and product timelines. Inventory Optimization: Employ effective inventory management strategies to balance stock levels in alignment with demand forecasts and order fulfillment requirements. KPI Monitoring: Oversee key performance indicators (KPIs) related but not limited to lead times, on-time delivery, inventory turnover, and supplier performance, identifying opportunities for improvement. Process Enhancements: Continuously identify process inefficiencies and drive improvements to enhance operational performance, reduce lead times, and optimize costs. Demand Planning: Work closely with sales teams to accurately forecast demand, ensuring that inventory levels are aligned with sales projections and market trends. Supply Chain : Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations from supplier sourcing to product delivery, ensuring seamless coordination across planning, procurement, production, and logistics. Implement supply chain visibility tools and risk management strategies to ensure resilience and scalability as the business grows. Operational Excellence: Implement best practices in supply chain and operations management, staying current with industry trends and market conditions to drive innovation. Team Management: Lead and manage a team of inventory analyst, inbound coordinators/managers, Logistic and demand planner fostering their growth, collaboration, and performance.
