Sessions are one hour in length and shall be scheduled between Monday and Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. No more than six (6) students will be part of any class.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans that meet the needs of adult students.
  • Provide foreign language instruction to adult students that focuses on the professional fields, political and economic fields, cultural lesson, general interest, and conversational skills typically found in massmedia publications for the foreign language speaking public.
  • Plan and deliver engaging and interactive classes that enable students to develop their Spanish language skills.
  • Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to promote ongoing improvement.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessments.
  • Collaborate with other language tutors and support staff to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Spanish, Education, Linguistics or related field is preffered but not required.
  • Minimum of two Experience teaching Spanish Language classes to adult students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective lesson plans that meet the needs of adult students.
  • Knowledge of teaching methods and techniques for foreign language instruction.
  • Familiarity with the professional fields, political and economic fields, cultural lesson, general interest and conversational skills typically found in massmedia publications for the foreign language speaking public.
  • Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
  • Strong organizational and timemanagement skills.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English.
