This position is for all Latin America_

We are looking for a Paralegal with Personal Injury experience

A Paralegal performs a variety of tasks to support lawyers including maintaining and organizing files, conducting legal research, and drafting documents.

Job Tasks:

• Draft and file documents in court
• Request medical bills/records
• Prepare notices and schedule depositions
• Write demand letters
• Write letters of representations and motions
• Coordinate with opposing counsels and medical practitioners
• Sort documents in case folders
• Create a record chart and record summary for each client case
• Draft pleadings and petitions
• Draft Petitions and Discovery

Requirements:

-
A Bachelor's degree is required; Law graduate or currently in Law School:

• Personal Injury law experience is required
• With a solid knowledge of legal terminology, legal procedure, and substantive law
• Understands the principles of legal writing
• Knowledge of attorneyclient relationships applicable to the performance of major duties and responsibilities of the position
• Master skills in basic principles, concepts, and methodology of legal proceedings and legal research
• Excellent English oral and written communication skills
• Has exceptional organizational skills and is able to multitask
• Ability to work with databases and online technological platforms
• Ability to be detailoriented, diligent, and flexible
• Ability to handle conflicting time demands and focus on task completion with little direction or need for supervisory followup.
• Proficient command of the English language in both oral and written formats
• Ability to work and maintain patience with diversified individuals of various backgrounds and professional competencies
• Committed to maintaining integrity and confidentiality on behalf of the company, the firm, and its clients

Willing to work on the Pacific Standard Time schedule:

• 
  Own Laptop or Desktop (8GB RAM, Core i5 or above) with an internet connection of at least 10 Mbps
