Position Overview:


Reporting to the Group Internal Control Manager, and as an integral part of Questel's Finance Team, this role is responsible to assist in the implementation of the international economic sanctions framework, as well as the anti-corruption and anti-bribery compliance at the group level with the aim to identify key risks within financial processes.


Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

Sanctions:

  • Analyze customers and suppliers targeted by restrictive measures or with adverse media exposure and present the assessment results to the Internal Control Manager for evaluation
  • Maintain up to date third party risk assessment results
  • Ensure risk assessment results are communicated to the relevant teams
  • Conduct a regulatory watch on high risk jurisdictions and sanctions, updating existing policies and procedures, as necessary
  • Manage internal stakeholder requests

Anti-bribery and Corruption:

  • Assist in the implementation of the anticorruption framework in compliance with the Sapin 2 law and applicable antibribery and corruption regulations
  • Assist in the drafting and updating of policies and procedures
  • Assist in the implementation of anticorruption training and communications

Compliance:

  • Contribute to various projects and initiatives to strengthen the compliance framework at the group level
  • Perform a regulatory watch
  • Prepare risk awareness raising communications
  • Manage internal stakeholder requests
In addition, this role is expected to contribute to various projects and initiatives to strength the Internal Control system and work on special projects and other duties as assigned by management

Education and Experience:
Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Legal or another related field required.

In addition, any combination of education, experience and training which provides the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to synthesize information
  • Experience in auditing, internal controls and compliance preferred
  • Ability to manage a project timeline and raise risks to the project, as appropriate
  • Exceptional organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Capacity to work under pressure in a fastpaced, everchanging environment
  • Highly motivated with a drive to continually improve and optimize
  • Exceptional judgment, discretion, and integrity
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills and a dynamic personality
  • Ability to be pragmatic, diplomatic and persistent in the implementation of controls and frameworks and resolution of identified control deficiencies
  • Willing to participate in a culture of responsiveness to strength relationships and ensure the needs and time of others are met and respected
  • Fluent in English

Supervision is provided by the Group Internal Control Manager
