The Corporate Tax department is responsible for all corporate income and indirect (transactional) tax matters within DPDHL.

Global responsibilities are addressed by International Taxes and Indirect Taxes, whereas regional responsibilities are organized by area, led by Regional Heads.

Job Purpose:

Comply with the tax formal duties of the entities and business units of DHL in the country under scope. Contribute with the continuous improvement of the tax processes to mitigate the risks and optimize resources.

Your tasks:

  • Support on tax compliance of the main legal entities.
  • Prepare the tax accounting reconciliation (monthly) of the main legal entities.
  • Compiles info for monthly & annual tax reports.
  • Prepare tax working papers.
  • Prepares monthly provisional payments.
  • Compiles and reviews the supporting tax documentation of ordinary transactions.
  • Answer tax questions of low complexity.
  • Response to intermediate complexity internal tax inquiries with the tax specialist help.
  • Proposes and support automation or digitalization projects of tax processes.
  • Proposes tax procedures or policies.
  • Support on the preparation of responses to specific questions from the tax authority.
  • Coordinate with the related areas the deadlines for sending information for tax preparation.
  • Prepare the tax information to be submitted to internal audit.

Your profile:

  • Accounting degree required.
  • Tax Postgraduate Studies or IFRS Postgraduate Studies preferred.
  • At least three years of tax experience required.
  • Basic English required, intermediate English preferred.
  • Excel (Intermediate level) required.
  • Experience with Excel Macros required.
  • Experience using Power BI preferred.
