Project Manager

The PMO Project Manager is accountable and responsible to lead and manage all Project Management Office activities and contractual obligations related to Tier 2 and 3 Measurement Solutions solely-content projects during the Execution phase, ensuring Measurement Solutions PMO executability requirements and goals are achieved (at a minimum) and/or exceeded (including but not limited to: getting engaged at FEED; quotations, PMO and Perfect Execution processes, procedures, tools and good practices; customer satisfaction surveys, OTD, OP, WIP inventory, Commercial Items, penalties & LD management, etc.).

The PMO Project Manager supports and collaborates during the Execution phase with the Emerson Automation Solutions SYSS Project Managers and Service Coordinators manage Tier 2+ multi-BU or high-complexity orders with Measurement Solutions content, for the Measurement Solutions PMO executability requirements and goals to be achieved (at a minimum) and/or exceeded (including but not limited to: getting engaged at FEED; quotations, PMO and Perfect Execution processes, procedures, tools and good practices; customer satisfaction surveys, OTD, OP, WIP inventory, Commercial Items, penalties & LD management, etc.).

The PMO Project Manager supports LAM and/or Southern Cone Emerson Automation Solutions or Measurement Solutions Project Pursuit, Sales & Inside Sales, Solution Architect, Industry, Supply Chain, Project Support, Project Procurement, Legal, Check Point, etc. organizations, perform their activities to develop optimized quotations, internal orders, administration, etc., reviewing, promoting, including, etc. all good practices and content that will benefit Emerson ́s execution capabilities and results.

The PMO Project Manager is accountable and responsible to follow all Measurement Solutions, Legal, Trade Compliance, Finance, Ethical, IT, etc. mandatory Emerson processes, procedures, tools, trainings, regulations, and good practices as they are approved and required.

The PMO Project Manager reports solid line to the Measurement Solutions PMO Director/Manager, and dotted line to the Measurement Solutions Business Leaders in each Southern Cone country.

MAIN REGIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES :

Project Pursuit and Sales Stage | Responsibilities for Tier 2+ project orders with PMO Project Manager involvement

• At Project Pursuit and/or FEED Stage
• Accountable and responsible to use CRM Opportunity information to early identify Tier 2+ opportunities that qualify as Tier 2+ orders and engage-in-advance with the Sales organizations to support the project pursuit team with PMO-related activities.
• Support Inside Sales, Solutions, Solution Architect and Project Procurement organizations producing accurate budgetary proposals, including the correct and complete set of execution-related information (included but not limited to: lead times; model numbers; Commercial Items; certificates, drawings and services; 3rd party content; costs, CM%, T&Cs, etc.).
• At Sales Stage
• Support Inside Sales, Solutions, Solution Architect and Project Procurement organizations producing accurate final-and-winner proposals, including the correct and complete set of execution-related information (included but not limited to: lead times; model numbers; Commercial Items; certificates, drawings and services; 3rd party content; costs, CM%, T&Cs, etc.).
• Support Sales organizations participating in customer negotiation-meetings, ensuring all Measurement Solutions execution requirements are negotiated and agreed before order placement.
• Support Sales organizations negotiate all the order ́s terms and conditions that ensure an Emerson clean & executable order is received (including but not limited to: Emerson pre-approved T&C; Customer, representatives, 3rd party suppliers and products are approved and uploaded in Emerson databases and systems; 3rd party suppliers are approved by Check Point; 3rd party suppliers content has been quoted by Project Procurement; credit limits and payment terms have been reviewed and approved by LAM Financial Services; DDQs are (and will be) active by the time of order ́s reception; etc.).
• Accountable and responsible to timely inform the Measurement Solutions factory Planner Teams the expected BOMs (quantity and model numbers as much as they are defined) to maximize S&OP achievement of project-required lead times.

Order Management Stage | Responsibilities for Tier 2+ project orders for which the PMO Project Manager acts as Project Manager

• At Order Reception, Clean Up, Booking and Administration
• Accountable and responsible to read, understand and communicate the project ́s commercial and technical scope of supply and contractual obligations, acting accordingly negotiating and communicating as needed for Emerson to minimize risks, maximize profitability and project execution success.
• Support all order entry and cleanup organizations (including but not limited to: Customer Care, Project Support, Legal, Check Point, Credit, Commercial, Finance, etc.) expedite order cleanup, booking and administration, collaborating in gathering or correcting commercial and/or technical information including supportive actions with Customers, Representative and/or Distributor and/or Reseller offices, and/or 3 rd Party Suppliers.
• At Order Management
• Accountable and responsible to schedule and lead the Hand Over meeting immediately after order reception. She/he is also accountable and responsible to invite all required parties and register and communicate the outcome of the meeting explicitly informing the order ́s requirements, complexities, schedule, next actions, etc.,
• Accountable and responsible to schedule and lead the Customer Kick-Off meeting, invite all required parties, discuss and negotiate order ́s acknowledgements, deviations, change orders, etc., and register and communicate the outcome of the meeting explicitly informing the order ́s requirements, complexities, schedule, next actions, etc.,
• Accountable and responsible to ensure all project related data is correctly entered and processed in Emerson systems (LAM, Factories, etc.) to ensure the entire scope of supply (including but not limited to: model numbers, quantities, Commercial Items, services, liquidated damages, addresses, contacts, credit information, check point information, 3 rd party content, etc.) and project execution steps (including but not limited to: order entry, technical review, factory purchase, factory shipment, international shipment, 3 rd party content and/or services provision and/or coordination, billing & collection, etc.) are correctly listed and/or scheduled, without errors that could compromise/affect the project ́s schedule and/or Emerson ́s performance and/or profitability.
• Accountable and responsible to lead all order management actions (including but not limited to: project schedule, customer communications, prioritizations, suppliers coordination inspections coordination, certificates and drawings, etc.).
• Support and collaborate with all Emerson teams involved in the order ́s execution (including but not limited to: Customer Care, Project Support, Project Procurement, Financial Services, Check Point, Legal, Factories, etc. ) perform their order ́s administration activities (including but not limited to: data entry, factory shipment) for which they are the ultimate accountable and responsible person.
• Support monitoring and providing suggestions for improvements to all Emerson teams involved in the order ́s execution for their SLAs to be accomplished and/or improved.

Order Management Stage | Responsibilities for Tier 2+ project orders for which the PMO Project Manager supports the Measurement Solutions content by assisting the assigned Emerson Automation Solutions Project Manager or Service Coordinator

• At Order Reception, Clean Up, Booking and Administration
• Support understand and communicate the project ́s commercial and technical scope of supply and contractual obligations, acting accordingly negotiating and communicating as needed for Emerson to minimize risks, maximize profitability and project execution success.
• Support all order entry and cleanup organizations (including but not limited to: Customer Care, Project Support, Legal, Check Point, Credit, Commercial, Finance, etc.) expedite order cleanup, booking and administration, collaborating in gathering or correcting commercial and/or technical information including supportive actions with Customers, Representative and/or Distributor and/or Reseller offices, and/or 3 rd Party Suppliers.
• At Order Management
• Support scheduling (including invitee lists), executing and communicating the outcome of the Hand Over meeting.
• Support scheduling, executing (including but not limited to: discuss and negotiate order ́s acknowledgements, deviations, change orders, etc.) and communicating the outcome of the Customer Kick-Off meeting.
• Accountable and responsible to ensure all Measurement Solutions project related data is correctly entered and processed in Emerson systems (LAM, Factories, etc.) to ensure the Measurement Solutions scope of supply (including but not limited to: model numbers, quantities, Commercial Items, services, liquidated damages, addresses, contacts, credit information, check point information, 3 rd party content, etc.) and project execution steps (including but not limited to: order entry, technical review, factory purchase, factory shipment, international shipment, 3 rd party content and/or services provision and/or coordination, billing & collection, etc.) are correctly listed and/or scheduled, without errors that could compromise/affect the project ́s schedule and/or Emerson ́s performance and/or profitability.
• Support order management actions (including but not limited to: project schedule, customer communications, prioritizations, suppliers coordination inspections coordination, certificates and drawings, etc.).
• Support and collaborate with all Emerson teams involved in the order ́s execution (including but not limited to: Customer Care, Project Support, Project Procurement, Financial Services, Check Point, Legal, Factories, etc. ) perform their order ́s administration activities (including but not limited to: data entry, factory shipment, etc.) for which they are the ultimate accountable and responsible person.
• Support monitoring and providing suggestions for improvements to all Emerson teams involved in the order ́s execution for their SLAs to be accomplished and/or improved.

Complete Execution Stage | All Tier 2+ project orders with PMO Project Management Involvement

• Accountable and responsible to participate in PMO calls (including but not limited to: Order and/or Project Review Calls, POR, S&OP, Southern Cone Execution calls, etc.), communicating and/or requesting PMO execution related information for the projects under her/his direct or indirect management and/or in-advance supervision.
• Accountable and responsible to follow PMO LAM and Global procedures, good practices, trainings, tools usage, etc. as they are approved for Latin America (including but not limited to: LAM DoA for in-Execution Projects, PMO Tools Suite, Competency Assessment, etc.).
• Accountable and responsible to maintain updated the Measurement Solutions Latin America PMO Dashboard and timely prepare and communicate Southern Cone related slides to be presented in PMO calls (including but not limited to: S&OP PMO Global Monthly call, etc.).
• Accountable and responsible to comply with all Emerson regulations and procedures (including but not limited to: anticorruption, antitrust, ethics code, conflict of interests, import regulations conformity, cyber security, data classification, data protection, safety, global practices, record retention, trade compliance, etc.).
• Accountable and responsible to manage Southern Cone PMO key performance indicators for the projects under her/his direct management or indirect supervision (including but not limited to: cash flow, backlog, extra costs, WIP inventory, and all other management assets).

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 5 years work experience with instrumentation and control (I&C) project management and/or assistance.
• Knowledge and understanding of project management goals, terminology, and process-&-procedures.
• Good knowledge of contractual and commercial aspects of I&C Projects.
• Proficient PC Office applications user knowledge (MS Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc.).
• Fluent in English, spoken and written.
• Oracle experience is desired but not a must.
• Software Project.
• Flexibility with local business travel 10% of the time.
