Our Proposal
We are looking for a Lead QA Automation Engineer (Backend focus - Ruby / RoR). We have a proven model, a novel offer, demonstrated product-market-fit, ample runway, and a deep product pipeline. We play in a massive opportunity space, and this role will have an outsized impact on our ability to scale by helping us to build a solid foundation for future growth. You will join a team of 5 QAs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test planning - identifying risks, mitigation planning, setting acceptance criteria
- Test automation for backend using Ruby, RSpec
- Acceptance testing
- Exploratory testing
- Fuzz testing
It can be a perfect match if you have:
- English conversational
- 2+ years of test automation experience for backend using Ruby/RSpec
- 4+ years experience in QA Automation role in a commercial delivery environment
- Deep understanding of QA methodologies and techniques
- Ability to analyze product requirements and translate them into comprehensive test cases
- Ability to collaborate and coordinate within a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
- Ability to wear multiple hats and multitask effectively
It would also be a plus if you:
- Have experience working in Banking, Finance, or a FinTech organization
- Have experience within a start-up or scale-up
- Have experience within a product-focused environment
