Your Impact:

As Regulatory Affairs Specialist, your responsibilities would consist of:

  1. Leading Peru & Bolivia Foods' portfolio, ensuring faultless compliance with the complete portfolio and enabling innovation and transformation, covering the E2E process from ideation to launch.
  2. Ensuring regulatory compliance of ingredients, formulas, and claims, developing nutrition facts and ingredient labels, and approving graphics according to regulatory needs.
  3. Interfacing with authorities to guarantee that the sanitary registration process is accurate and influences regulatory discussions.
  4. Interacting with and fostering the RA perspective with key internal and external stakeholders, including R&D, Marketing, Procurement, Legal, PPGA, and external associations.

This position requires a deep understanding of local regulations and the external regulatory environment, as well as PepsiCo processes.

Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?

  • Required: 1+ year of deep on-the-job Regulatory experience and/or a strong understanding of Peru Regulations and the external regulatory environment. Preferred knowledge of international regulations such as Codex.
  • Preferred: 2 years of technical R&D or Quality expertise.
  • Required: minimum BS in Food Science or equivalent.
