Overview

This Production Coordinator position contributes to the success of PepsiCo by assisting the supervisor with directing the manufacturing front line team to meet customer needs and achieve standards related to cost, line efficiencies, waste, safety, and productivity. You will assist with aligning the team to achieve production performance standards.

Responsibilities
  • Assist to develop and lead a cross-functional/departmental team to take on day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals.
  • Motivate team members to achieve plan goals by having a regular presence on the plant floor.
  • Apply knowledge of TPM processes, equipment, and system capability for individual and facility standards.
  • Communicate performance standards with regards to safety, line utilization, and quality.
  • Track key performance indicators/costs, communicate with supervisor, and recommend anticipating and correcting trends which would compromise achievement of financial targets.
  • Oversee and ensure facility equipment reliability to minimize downtime.
  • Order production raw materials timely and track them to communicate production scheduling needs.
  • Develop strong management of daily inventory including counts and period close responsibilities.
  • Assist the supervisor in building people capability through effective employee relations, training, and communication for front-line hourly personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations.
  • Ensure adherence to policies and procedures with supervisor communication when necessary.
  • This role may operate manufacturing equipment occasionally.
  • This role requires you to work off-shift and weekend work.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $53,600 - $80,450.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
  • Effective coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team-building skills.
  • A minimum of 2 years of manufacturing or operations experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated planning and organization skills.
  • Ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
  • Ability to work in a results-oriented, challenging environment.
  • This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States.
  • GED or High School Diploma.
  • SAP experience.
  • MS Office and Excel experience.
