We are currently seeking a **Site** **Construction Manager** to join our growing team.
**About the role**:
- Effectively manage all onsite activities in the delivery of projects to ensure the successful delivery of the project; constructed on time, to budget and in accordance with Ausenco objectives.-
- Ensure that the site runs according to project plans with appropriately skilled staff available at the required times to complete construction tasks.-
- Unwavering dedication to safety and proven ability to achieve construction deadlines.-
- Lead an on-site team of engineers, supervisors and technical support personnel in completing assigned scope.-
- Manage the construction work in accordance with the project schedule and the project budget.-
- Maintain a professional and functional relationship with client personnel.-
- Ensure industrial relations issues are properly managed and not allowed to escalate.-
- Key support for the Project Director as a member of the Project Leadership Team.**About You**:
- Technical training and experience is preferable.
- Strong understanding of the commercial aspects of construction contracting including the management of changes and variations.
- 12-15 years or more of EPC/EPCM experience including supervision of contractors and field personnel.
- Have previous experience in process plants and mining projects in excess of US$300M.
- Significant management experience in the construction environment and a thorough knowledge of all phases of construction is essential to have experience working in a mine construction environment.
- Willingness to travel.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
