Clarion Developer

DESCRIPTION

Clarion Developers work with the Clarion development language, developed by SoftVelocity, looking for desktop software products and Microsoft.Net for client and web-based solutions all of which require familiarity with MSSQL. Additionally, a Clarion Application Developer will also help investigate and find the root cause of software issues escalated by the support team.

POSITION OVERVIEW RESPONSIBILITIES.
- Work with the Clarion 11 IDE (primary responsibility).
- Will be nice to have Work with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio Write SQL queries for MSSQL
- Work with Microsoft Visual Studio CVB, ASP.Net Web Forms MVC.POSITION REQUIREMENTS.
- 7+ years experience with software development.
- 3+ years experience with the Clarion programming language TopScanTPS File Database Experience SetupBuilder.
- Experience Clarion Application Network Deployments Secure Coding Practices Clarion 3rd Party Tool Integration
- Intermediate knowledge of writing SQL queries for MSSQL Familiar with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Acceptable written and oral communication skills for technical audiences

SUPPLEMENTARY EXPERIENCE (NOT REQUIRED)
- Experience with CVB Familiar with Microsoft IIS Software support andor quality assurance testing of software.
