Position Overview
At E2open, you will be an integral member of a global, dynamic organization, working on cutting-edge technology that transforms the way companies do business with their trading partners in complex, multi-tier supply chains.
**Responsibilities**:
The Staff Software Engineer will be responsible for implementing code/logic/configuration changes as requested and prioritized by customer support.
Verify the fix with different test case scenarios in the different environments (SBX/DEV/UAT/PROD) before delivering to the customer.
Help develop and provide use cases and test cases for fixes.
Determine whether issue solution is an enhancement request or a defect.
Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
Other tasks and activities as assigned
Qualifications and Experiences
Degree in computer science or equivalent experience
Well versed in SQL and Oracle databases
Ability to speak and write English fluently. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Logical approach and excellent problem solving skills.
Must be able to work well both in a team environment and independently under mínimal supervision.
Attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot and provide feedback and solutions.
Ability and willingness to learn new technologies, on own initiative.
WebSphere, and WebLogic
A plus with knowledge on Spring, Web technologies (eg. HTML5, CSS3), JavaScript libraries (eg. ReactJS, Angular, etc)
A plus with experience and understanding in development methodologies (Waterfall, Scrum, Agile, etc), version control and configuration management
A plus with basic understanding of ITIL, incident and problem management.
A plus with functional and business process knowledge of the Logistics and Supply Chain industry, as well as experience with logistics, transportation, and shipping software.
E2open participates in the E-verify program in certain locations, as required by law.
