**What you will do**

The Virtual Agent Engineer is responsible for serving as an expert resource, leading large projects, managing relationships, and balancing workload within the team. You will also be responsible for solving complex problems, negotiating the needs of multiple users, and providing mentorship or guidance to others:
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain virtual agent systems that meet the needs of the organization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the virtual agent system is integrated with other systems and processes
- Design and implement innovative solutions to improve the virtual agent system's performance and user experience
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the team
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in virtual agent development and incorporate them into the organization's virtual agent system
- Lead and manage virtual agent engineering projects and initiatives across the organization
- Serve as an expert resource for virtual agent technology and processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including I/T, legal, finance, and impacted business areas
- Balance I/T standards and strategies with business needs to guide well-informed decisions
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
- Prioritize work and balance workload within the team
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to others

**What we are looking for**

Required Qualifications
- 5-8 years of experience with minimum 4 years experience in virtual agent development or related field
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science or related field
- Strong Service Now skills.
- Experience with natural language processing and machine learning techniques
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Desired Qualifications
- Advanced technical expertise in virtual agent technology and processes. (like Chatgpt, Self learning technologies, Nexthink Integration).
- Understanding of complex operational processes and documentation.
- Ability to prioritize criticality of operational incidents and their impact on the business
- Experience managing vendors necessary to complete a project
- Strong communication and leadership skills
