Usaid Voucher Examiner

**DUTIES**:
As a Voucher Examiner/Accounting Technician within the Regional Financial Management Office (RFMO), the incumbent provides financial management services to USAID/Peru for bilateral and regional programs. Jobholder also supports the non-presence countries of Ecuador and Venezuela and the presence countries of Brazil, Colombia, and Paraguay. The number of countries supported fluctuates at times due to the needs of the Agency. The incumbent is required to administer, review, research, and reconcile the accounting records for multiple complex accounts to include contracts, grants, operating expenses, employee payroll, entitlements, and USDH allowances. Jobholder assists in all stages of the preparation of financial reports and performs voucher examination including the most difficult and complex invoices for payment of goods and services relating to USAID technical program activities and administrative (operational and travel) vouchers in order to make timely payments to a wide variety of vendors which include partners, contractors, service providers, and employees.

**EXPERIENCE**:
Minimum Three years related progressive work experience is required in Accounting, Finance or in Accounting Technician/Voucher Examination.

**EDUCATION**:
Completion of Secondary school plus two years of College/University studies in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
