**Report Data Analyst Job Description**

**Job Summary**:Responsible for converting data into captivating and visual representations to help our business users make better, data-driven decisions. The data analyst will work to interpret and portray data to tell stories in a variety of different user situations. Working closely with the Telvista departments, business teams and client scopes and data metrics selecting appropriate data sources for data visualizations. Additionally, the Data Analyst maintains and updates current dashboards monitoring, report generation and delivery both internally and externally and overall business metrics.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities **include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Perform end-to-end data analysis, including data discovery and validation, ETL, data QA, analysis, visualization, and data presentation to internal and external users.

Interface with the requestor to understand data analysis requirements, and questions to be answered and determine the approach to answering the question at the right level.

Drive continuous improvement efforts on automation of data by interfacing with data business users across the organization.

Design, development, testing, and deployment of Sisense and/or SAP Business Object Dashboards and/or Reports.

Work with internal departments to identify business intelligence, reporting, and information needs.

Maintain existing and design, develop, and test new database objects.

Maintain existing and design, develop, and test new ETL flows.

Review daily job execution reports and alerts and follow up on exceptions.

Maintain existing and design, develop, and test new, Sisense dashboards, SAP Business Object alerts, and reports.

Troubleshooting all aspects of report development, design, preparation and delivery.

Participate in daily stand-ups and meetings.

**Qualifications **The requirements listed below are representative of the minimum knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to qualify for performing the job.

**Education and/or Experience**:Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

**Language Skills**:Ability to read and interpret documents and procedure manuals. Ability to write simple reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. 100% fluent conversational and technical English communication.

**Mathematical Skills**:Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- SAP Business Objects
- Sisense
- SQL and or Oracle database development and administration skills
- Expert level Excel development for reporting
- SSIS Automation and/or ETL development and management.
- Visual Studio
- Excellent troubleshooting skills in all phases of report delivery
