Senior Corporate Accountant

As the Senior Corporate Accountant at EdgeUno, you will manage financial records, prepares reports for multiple countries, ensures compliance with international accounting standards and coordinates with various teams across different locations to maintain accurate financial data. This role involves analyzing global financial data, supervising accounting BPOs, and implementing strategies to optimize financial processes across international borders.

**Core Responsibilities**
- Execute day-to-day Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Analysis for assigned areas.
- Generate journal entries associated with the monthly closing (adjustments, accruals, reclassifications, other)
- Perform month-end balance sheet reconciliations and promptly resolve any discrepancies.
- Take the lead on accounting and finance special projects as they arise. (SAP Implementations)
- Prepare Standalone and Consolidated Financial Statements in statutory and reporting currency.
- Conduct monthly variance and trend analysis for Profit and Loss (revenues, COS, SG&A, other incomes)
- Perform monthly reconciliations for the Balance Sheet.
- Manage relationships with BPOs.

**Requirements**:

- Proficiency in English (>C1), Portuguese and/or Spanish is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- Demonstrated experience and expertise in working with Financial Statements, Consolidation, and conducting Month-end/Year-end closings.
- Proficiency in handling ERP. SAP knowledge is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to details and hands-on
- Experience in telecommunications / technology industry is desirable.
