The Corporate Security mission is to protect Diageo's people, assets, reputation and future development through setting policies and standards and monitoring their implementation, by providing decision makers with expert guidance and services.

The South Lac Corporate Security & Brand Protection Manager is responsible for delivering the Corporate Security and Brand Protection agenda to the required standard in South Lac.

The role will be key to establishing and maintaining communications between the Global Security and Global Brand Protection teams and the market and developing and leading region-wide strategies to identify and address existing and emerging Security and Brand Protection risks.

The role reports directly to the Head of Legal of South Lac. It will be accountable for implementing policy and strategic priorities, embedding global standards and support tools, and delivering capability training (internally and externally).

Financial:
In a medium risk market such as South Lac, the role shall operate with the appropriate security measures within the AOP by monitoring and managing security and budget appropriately.

Responsible for delivery of brand protection support across South Lac to budget, including efficient management of external and consultancy spend and achieving productivity savings.

Market Complexity:
South Lac is a business unit integrated by 7 countries (Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay & Paraguay), 5 in market companies, more than 120 employees and, co-packing operations in Argentina. The deterioration of geopolitical/security situation in South Lac, could affect our people, logistic operations, product availability and the business performance in the country and globally.

The South Lac Corporate Security and Brand Protection role is unique in the wider distributed team in that it requires operational expertise as well as leadership skills.

Leadership Responsibilities:
- Provide business partnering support to enable delivery of proactive fit for purpose security and BCM risk management in a manner that delivers brilliant execution and outcome-oriented solutions while appropriately leading and mitigating the associated security and business continuity risks and driving integrated performance to protect and maintain reputation- Security trusted advisor for Commercial business.- Demonstrate effective delivery of the Brand Protection agenda across the market to ensure that counterfeit issues are dealt with pro-actively, using the appropriate resources and strategies.- Build strong working relationships with other Diageo functions relevant to ensuring effective support for the brand protection agenda.- Establish and maintain strong relationships with and provide leadership to the Brand Protection Working Groups to ensure sharing of best practice, provide training and communication of trends and analysis of activities and ensure input from the Head of Brand Protection Global at the right stage on matters requiring more senior judgement and expertise.- Build and maintain relationships with key government officials and with law enforcement officials and other relevant stakeholders such as Customs and Trading Standards, across South Lac.

Purpose of Role:
- To develop and implement local security policies and practices to protect people, visitors, assets, reputation, and all IMC/Commercial operations.- Having a comprehensive understanding of Diageo South Lac business and the risks it faces and providing appropriate advice to minimize those risks.- Creating and driving proactive security programs, with stakeholders to ensure the continued safe and effective operations of IMC.- Contributing to the global response to crises and significant events.- Establishing and maintaining close liaison with relevant law enforcement and government officials.- Delivering security training and awareness for employees and providing professional security advice and consultation to South Lac IMC Management.- Participate and Coordinate crisis incidents impacting the commercial and/or logistics part of the business.- Ensure technical security systems on all sites provide the optimum level of cost-effective security by maintaining up to date knowledge of available systems and recommending ch
