Job Description:
Purpose
The incumbent of the role will have _operational, tactical and strategy_ responsibilities related to the day to day execution of systems transactions, analyse performance, generate information / documentation required inbound and outbound operations, shipments delivery coordination. Is responsible to the stakeholder’s management as a 3PL “one of the most important vendors in terms of amount invoiced” besides of control on each supplier involved in the supply chain logistics, among other ad hoc assigned activities. Plus this role have an huge participation as a leader in all productivity initiatives implement is his market in logistics area.
Key Outputs/Deliverables
- Planning, and preparation of reception, storage, rework, picking & shipping capacities in conjunction with the 3PL & Planning team to meet needs in a timely manner.
- Ensure the efficient and effective execution of logistics operations for reception, storage, rework, picking & shipping, by closely monitoring performance metrics (daily, weekly & monthly).
- Provide support to the sales area in the areas of sales reports, open orders, orders in transit or any other issue where the opinion of the logistics team is required.
- Protect the service (CFR, OTIFNE, OTD) through excellence in logistics execution, so that the needs of our internal & external clients are maintained and exceeded.
- Prepare market service indicators, specifically OTIF (On Time In Full) and CFR (Case Fill Rate).
- Control & Optimization of the Logistics Cost
- Leading productivity & process improvement projects.
- Guarantee compliance with internal controls, as well as the execution of the control routines required in the operation (Inventory Accuracy, Cut Off Control, Revenue Recognition Control).
- Guarantee internal processes in accordance with control standards and attend audits (CARM, GAR) in a timely manner as required.
Qualifications and Experience Required
- Bachelor’s Degree required in Business, Engineering or related field.
- MBA or other post-graduate work in international trade, logistics and/ operations is a plus
- Fluent Spanish required.
- Medium level of English proficiency
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Highly organized attention to detail and hands on attitude
- Good planning and organization skills.
- Proactive, self-starter, works under pressure
- Analytical and data mining skills are required
- Excel and SAP knowledge
