**Your Role and Responsibilities**
Troubleshooting complex Oracle database systems versions from Oracle 12x to current.
Installing Oracle software; creating Oracle databases; performing upgrades of the database and software to new release levels; starting up and shutting down the database; managing the database's storage structures; managing users and security; managing schema objects, such as tables, indexes, and views; making database backups and performing recovery when necessary; proactively monitoring the database's health and taking preventive or corrective action as required; and monitoring and tuning performance.
Creating database-related scripts and programs to support development and production environments.
To research, evaluate, design, test, recommend, and plan implementation of new or improved RDBMS, ETL and database tools
**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
Proven at least 3 years work experience as a Database administrator.
Knowledge of database backup procedures, recovery systems, and SQL.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Oracle Database Administration Certified Professional (OCP) 12c or 2019
**Preferred Technical and Professional Experience**
Oracle Certified Expert (Oracle Database 12c, 2019): RAC and Grid Infrastructure Administrator
Proficiency in data manipulation languages, including Oracle Database, MS SQL.
Familiarity with Oracle database design, coding, and documentation.
Knowledge of programming languages and API.
