The Opportunity

We are hiring an ambitious and forward-thinking PMO director to join our established and growing team in Lima.

Project: As the United Kingdom Delivery Team (UKDT) enters its 4th year of working alongside the Peruvian Government in the delivery of over $5Bn of social and flood infrastructure, we are expanding We are searching for an inspirational team leader to steer our Integrated Solutions Delivery Assurance team through this next exciting period of growth.

In the next year, we will be supporting our client deliver a 5-fold increase in the volume of works compared to the previous year, with construction starting on 7 city drainage schemes, 17 river defence projects and unique reforestation and early warning systems projects.

We are looking for an ambitious and dynamic delivery professional with a background in large civil projects/programmes who is capable of defining and delivering service excellence to our client.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

- Responsible for ARCC’s overall project management office function, providing leadership, integration and management of PMO processes and functions to improve the consistency and efficiency ARCC’s program delivery.
- Managing all PMO and project controls functional workstream.
- Reporting directly to the ARCC executive director.

About You

You have client delivery partner experience on Tier 1 event. You have delivery track record on major program or sports/expo infrastructure. You have evidence of leading organizational change programs driving efficiency and achieving savings in associated operating costs. You have a civil engineering degree or other construction related qualification. You have experience of a major infrastructure program and delivery. You have demonstrated experience in the delivery of large, fast-tracked programs. You demonstrate ability in working on multidisciplined teams. You have good knowledge of development of program architecture and mobilized the associated program controls platforms, including program management delivery systems to drive consistency of delivery across all projects and sub-programs. You have good knowledge of development of multiple bespoke client reporting suites and user-friendly dashboards, to allow data driven decision making. You are successfully trained and managed program teams, including stakeholders, clients, consultants, and the supply chain, in program/project methodology to drive consistent standards.
