Your role, as APAC Sales Director is to set a regional strategy aligned with global Geltor’s commercial strategy and lead the sales operations locally. You will be part of Geltor Commercial leadership team and report to the Chief Commercial Officer. We seek a results-driven, customer-centric leader who thrives on making a profound impact and driving growth in the region.

**What you'll do**:

- Grow revenue in the Asia Pacific region. Identify new market opportunities to venture into and secure business.
- As the first Geltor ambassador in APAC, you will establish and cultivate long-term relationships with key regional customers and partners.
- Develop a go-to-market strategy and 3 years business plan aligned with global strategy and business plan.
- Manage and train all APAC sales channels.
- Develop relationships with distributors and agents as needed.
- Work with Key Account managers to execute regional plans relative to global customers operating in APAC. Coordinate activities in this regard with colleagues worldwide.
- Recruit sales and marketing manager(s) in due time.
- This being an individual contributor role at first, you will lead the entire sales cycle to support the commercial expansion into new countries and you will also make pitches to partners and customers.
- Lead and oversee the proposal process for your region, including the development of RFP assessments and responses, sales decks, and inputs from multiple stakeholders (R&D, Regulatory, Supply chain, legal etc.)
- Take ownership of commercial contracts drafting and reviews for both new and existing customers, collaborating with HQ departments.
- Develop and implement regional operational sales and marketing tools by collaborating with the Global marketing team
- Provide regular business reports, maintain an up-to-date opportunity pipeline.

**What you'll need**:

- More than 10 years of B2B sales, business development experience is required in beauty and personal care active/specialty ingredient market or closely adjacent markets.
- At least 4 years in a leadership role and a passion for leading and managing teams (direct and indirect reports).
- Previous experience of developing business from ground-up in new countries in APAC
- In-depth knowledge of the Asian ecosystem (customers/competitors).
- Demonstrated track record in managing a business or P&L and generating significant growth.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to generate pricing based on business value analysis.
- Self-starter with a strong entrepreneurial spirit, capable of driving projects autonomously, while working closely with stakeholders and cross functional teams based in USA and EMEA.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Can prepare and deliver compelling presentations.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin. Other language kills a big plus.
- Excellent understanding of industry trends, customer drivers, and market dynamics.
- Passion for the beauty and wellness industry.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic international environment.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a strong sense of urgency.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory and to USA.
