**THE JOB**:
**Are you detail oriented, have labor experience, and want to travel the world?**

As an Art Mover, you will live and work onboard a cruise ship. You will assist the art team and program in a behind-the-scenes role. By managing the daily setup and storage of art, you will help to keep our product, the artwork, looking its best.

**Specific Job Duties**:

- Daily art display setup in accordance with best practices and safety guidelines
- Lead setup and breakdown of around 300 artworks for art auctions 3 days a week
- During art auctions, gather and stack all requested artwork to be auctioned,
- Bring artworks on or off the main easel quickly and safely
- Lead and manage a team of hired art movers, educating them in best practices of art handling in accordance with shipboard safety requirements
- Manage art and supply inventory, alerting the Auctioneer when any items need ordering
- Assist with onloads and offloads of new artwork collections onto, or off, of a ship
- Maintain the quality of the onboard art collection
- Package “Take Off” works safely for clients
- Ability to recognize our artist’s work and their style, as well as lot types and mediums

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Minimum 6 months experience working in a position that requires daily physical labor
- Coachable with the willingness and desire to learn
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds on a daily basis
- Ability to speak English clearly, distinctly and cordially with guests
- Strong work ethic
- Professional demeanor
