**Position Overview**:
Reporting to the Manager of Operations, and as an integral part of Questel’s Language Solutions Team, this role is responsible for providing support to various teams in Operations, Client Solutions, and Sales. Three days out of the week are dedicated to the Operations project management team, assisting with various aspects of the document translation lifecycle. During the weekend, the Project Coordinator continues to support the Operations team, while also fulfilling duties related to interpretations, quoting and order entry.

**Principal Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Serve as point of contact for all weekend queries and new orders pertaining to translation and interpretation
- Assist Operations team in launching new projects and Sales team in processing quote requests
- Initiate tasks for rush requests from project scoping through execution
- Source translation teams, administer tasks and monitor progress on behalf of project managers
- Pre-process files before delivery to the translator, ensuring that the translator receives complete, organized files
- Conduct postproduction quality assurance checks, and clearly communicate any issues to project managers
- Prepare final delivery packages
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date project records
- Manage projects end-to-end that meet or exceed client requirements
- Manage project resources
- Monitor assigned projects to ensure all projects have been accepted by vendors
- Report unaccepted/unassigned projects to department managers
- Assist in determining project feasibility
- Work on special projects and other duties as assigned by management
- Maintain regular contact with clients to offer support throughout the life cycle of a project
- Direct client complaints or complex queries to relevant team
- Build positive client relations by checking in regularly and following up on active orders during the weekend
- Support Interpretation team with different tasks such as data entry and invoicing

**Education and Experience**: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. In addition, any combination of education, experience and training which provides the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

- Able to handle multiple demands, delays or interruptions, while still maintaining accuracy and timeliness
- Demonstrate initiative, persistence, ability to problem-solve, and enthusiasm for learning
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, using professional tone and language; tactful and diplomatic with a clear, straightforward, courteous, and cooperative manner when dealing with others
- Detail-oriented, thorough, accurate, and able to work quickly and steadily in a focused manner
- Able to deal with frequent changes, delays, interruptions, and unexpected events
- Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently with mínimal supervision
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making abilities, and creative thinking to readily offer client solutions
- Previous internship or experience in a fast-paced office setting
- Willing to participate in a culture of responsiveness to strengthen relationships and ensure the needs and time of others are met and respected
- Fluent in English
- Fluency in another language, other than English, is preferred but not required

Supervision is provided by the Director of Operations
