Our Quantum business unit's Information & Technology team is seeking a Senior PHP Developer. Looking for self-motivation, confidence in programming abilities and a background in bringing solutions to the table. Our team is growing, and we are looking for someone that can bring a strong level of commitment, organization, and knowledge to our team.
**Responsibilities**
- You will be a part of a creative team that is responsible for all aspects of the ongoing software development from the initial specification, through to developing, testing and launch
- Assist with documentation on new features & contribute to the documentation of existing ones.
- Thoroughly document requirements, bugs, and potential issues along with replication steps and/or negative impact
- Propose new methods & approaches to old solutions, help to improve/development standards
- Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle. Write backend API services in Laravel for internal programs, focused on scaling, testing, supporting, and maintainability
- Write high quality, secure, clean, and high performing code
- Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products
- Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality

**Requirements**:
- 3+ years of experience microservices
- 3+ years experience in Laravel PHP framework
- 4+ years experience with relational databases like MySQL
- Experience with NodeJS, ReactJS
- Advanced English level
- Must be self-motivated and possess strong communication and coordination skills between Client Support, Product, and Engineering to execute solutions
- A strong business sense and ability to collaborate with leadership and non-technical stakeholders on highly visible projects
- Strong knowledge and a passion for software best practices, design patterns, and testing
- Experience with CI/CD tooling, including Github Actions and Workflows
- Understanding of best practices for web development, software design, and DevOps principles
