The Reproductive Health Supplies Coalition (RHSC) is a global partnership of more than 500 public, private, and non-governmental organizations dedicated to ensuring that all people in low
- and middle-income countries can choose, obtain, and use affordable, high-quality supplies and related services to ensure their better reproductive health. Our global Secretariat is staffed and managed by PATH.

PATH is a global nonprofit dedicated to achieving health equity. With more than 40 years of experience forging multisector partnerships, and with expertise in science, economics, technology, advocacy, and dozens of other specialties, PATH develops and scales up innovative solutions to the world’s most pressing health challenges.

The RHSC is currently recruiting a Program Officer to play a key role in the implementation of its 2021-2025 workplan specifically in relation to the El Foro Latinoamericano Y Del Caribe (ForoLAC), the Latin American and Caribbean geographic arm of the RHSC. The Program Officer will collaborate closely with the ForoLAC Regional Advisor. Since 2011, ForoLAC has established itself as the biggest sexual and reproductive health (SRH) partnership in Latin America by bringing together governments, multilateral agencies, international and local NGOs as well as pharmaceutical manufacturers. ForoLAC’s aim is to reach the most vulnerable population with quality SRH supplies that are affordable and within a framework of equity and sustainability.

**Specific duties and responsibilities**:

- In collaboration with the ForoLAC regional advisor, support and backstop ForoLAC and its respective workstreams including strategic planning, organizing and facilitating regular meetings, maintaining member engagement, and uniting diverse partners around shared objectives
- Encourage and assist members of ForoLAC to develop competitive proposals for the Innovation Fund
- Contribute to timely monitoring and dissemination of Coalition activities by providing relevant data to the monitoring and evaluation and communications teams. Draft quarterly and donor specific reports. Respond to donor questions
- Author reports, briefings, and presentations; track key ForoLAC project activities; undertake special projects as directed by the Regional Advisor
- Plan, coordinate, and assist in convening stakeholder meetings in collaboration with internal and external partner partners
- Participate in team workplan meetings to help ensure activities advance the project’s objectives and priorities
- Coordinate with project administrators, external vendors, and procurement staff to obtain estimates, track payment, and keep projects within budgetary limitations
- As needed, develop and maintain Box, Miro, Survey Monkey, Doodle, Mentimeter, and other online collaboration sites. Assist staff and partners in their use
- Support relevant business development opportunities, including participation in capture planning, project design, and proposal development
- Keep informed of key SRH developments in the region and find opportunities for ForoLAC’s activities
- Play an active team role in the organization and implementation of the RHSC’s annual meetings

**Required Skills**:
Required Experience
- A minimum of five years of experience working in international public health, preferably reproductive health, and Master’s degree or equivalent, preferably in global public health, international development, or related area. Or, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus a minimum of seven years of professional experience
- Excellent Spanish and English language writing and editing skills
- Demonstrated ability to create compelling written materials in a range of formats and for a variety of audiences, including donor, government, public health, and lay audiences
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple demands, manage shifting priorities, and meet deadlines
- In-depth knowledge of reproductive health supplies and services. Knowledge of the SRH landscape in the LAC region, key stakeholders, and current issues
- Demonstrable experience in creative problem solving
- Proven self-starter with a strong sense of accountability and ownership, attention to detail and organization, ability to work independently and prioritize work appropriately
- A team player with strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment as part of a cross-disciplinary team operating in multiple locations and time zones
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; able to communicate complex processes in a clear and concise manner
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite required, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote and SharePoint. Additional software experience desired such as Smartsheet, Mentimeter, Miro Willingness to travel approximately 15 percent
