Senior Buyer

**The Company**
Globe 24-7 in partnership with a key client in South America, is working together to source a highly capable and motivated professional to join the Glencore Copper Project LATAM team.

**The Role**
The role will be accountable for the critical purchases for the CPF project, oversee the procurement management for the CPF project that Glencore outsources to a third party. Supervise and coordinate the quality management of materials and equipment for the CPF project. Supervise and coordinate the logistics strategy for the CPF project. Support the business reediness whit the operation.

**The Responsibilities**
- Create and track the Procurement Plan for CPF Project.
- Make critical purchases for the CPF project.
- Follow and enforce procurement and contracting procedures.
- Train and lead the EPCM /PCM or others in commercial and compliance issues.
- Oversee the procurement management for the CPF project that Glencore outsources to a third party.
- Supervise and coordinate the quality management of materials and equipment for the CPF project.
- Supervise and coordinate the logistics strategy for the CPF project.
- Support the business reediness with the operation.

**The Requirements**
- Degree as Administrator, Industrial Engineer, Civil Engineer, or others w/ specialization in Procurement and Acquisitions.
- 10 years’ experience in Procurement and Contracts in general and 2 minimum in Projects.
- Proven experience with greenfield and brownfields mining projects across entire project lifecycle, from detailed engineering through commissioning, setting up project baselines and implementing updating and forecasting work cycles.
- Proven experience in negotiation whit vendors.
- Expediting and Surveillance capabilities.

- Commercial proven expertise.
- Advanced written and oral skills in both, Spanish and English.
