What we offer
As a Maintenance Technician I, under the supervision of the Facilities Director/Manager you assist with the implementation and documentation of site safety plans, all URW engineering operational standards and guidelines as well as site specific standards, policies and procedures relating to the engineering department. These duties include but are not limited to the installation, repair, and maintenance of the facility equipment.
Supports Facilities with oversight and upkeep of the physical plant, including grounds, utility services, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, electronic systems, carpentry, plumbing, etc. and performs other tasks as assigned in the best manner possible for the safety and health of all concerned, and coordinate these activities as needed.

What we are looking for
- 1 - 3+ years of experience in commercial property, multi-unit residential and/or related facilities maintenance role.
- Utilizes CMMS and ECOWISE systems (BMS) to efficiently manage facility operations. Responsible for the integrity of information in these systems and databases and ensuring these tools are fully utilized.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Basic knowledge and understanding of the following:
- Plumbing
- HVAC Systems
- i.e., Filter changes
- Refrigeration
- Electric
- i.e., Distribution systems
- Carpentry
REQUIRED
- Education/Training
- High School diploma or GED
- Safety Certification/Training
- OSHA 10 Certification
- Computer
- Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
The physical demands described here must be met by employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the Maintenance Technician I role.
- Must possess the ability to stand, climb and frequently lift a minimum of 50 lbs.of equipment (pumps, tools, ladders, etc.).
- Regularly required install/move equipment.
- Ability to walk and transverse property to facility work.
- Ability to speak clearly so others can understand you.
- Ability to read and understand information presented orally and in writing.
