AECOM Peru is in immediate need of Senior Project Controls Analyst to support the Lima Airport project for the next few months.

Responsibilities of position include but are not limited to quality control reviews of all project cost related to the design, procurement and construction phases of the project.

**Job responsibilities**:
+ Possesses proven knowledge of scope control and change management.

+ Utilizes extensive knowledge of construction contracting including the manner in which contract type effects implementation of project controls systems.

+ Reviews performance trends, prepares analysis and cost impact and monthly project performance reports, and recommends contractor invoices for approval.

+ Conducts root cause analysis.

+ Evaluates manpower, labor hour, and labor cost requirements versus budget limitations.

+ Able to review and assess (as required) raw data that comes from project automated systems.

+ Serves as a key participant in client and/or subcontractor negotiations.

+ Ensures that a tracking database is developed and maintained to cross check contractor and subcontractor funding is aligned with work authorization and expenditures.

+ Involved in tracking system to ensure that Project Management team is fully aware of detailed change order status.

+ Assists the Deputy PM/CM in development Project CAPEX, Budgeting and managing incentive programs.

+ Conducts or assists in performance measurement and associated cost trending.

+ Prepares and assists in various levels of project reporting.

+ Has the ability to review and analyze project program and oversee the production of accurate progress/performance reports.

+ Involved in tracking system to ensure that Project Management team is fully aware of detailed change order status.

+ Provide support on Value Engineering Cost Assessment and Concept Design Cost evaluation.

+ Possesses knowledge of construction accounting principles with an extensive understanding of the manner in which the company establishes and documents the financial position.

Minimum Requirements

+ University Degree in engineering or related discipline

+ 10-15 years’ experience in large construction/engineering projects in related position. Experience in Contractor and / or Client side will also be taken into consideration

+ Exceptional organizational and follow-through skills

+ Self-motivated and ability to work independently as well as with others

+ Proficiency in MS Office and document control systems

+ Good verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish

Preferred Qualifications

+ Experience of setting up an efficient and effective filling system for easy access by the Project team

+ Proficiency in Data Bases and or other massive collection data control systems

+ Knowledge of and experience working with Peruvian construction and engineering services.

+ Skilled in the development of commercial strategies. Capable of participating in negotiations.

+ PMI or AACEI certification is a plus.
