The Pre Sales Engineer provides field technical support to customers by serving as the primary technical interface for TD SYNNEX products, solutions, and services.

Performs a variety of product, and technical support functions which include research and resolution of pre-sales technical and process related issues.

Such activities may include the following as well as other duties as assigned.

**What You'll Do**:

- Provides pre-sales resolution of all technical and process related issues, using appropriate escalation points when necessary.
- Consults with customers and technology group to clarify and/or resolve problems, evaluate operational and performance requirements.
- Consults with customers concerning pre-sales design, development, and maintenance of products/services.
- Assists sales channel, field teams and customers with pre-sales technical solutions.
- Responsible for knowledge transfer of advanced technical theory to target audiences.
- Communicates complex information and ideas clearly, concisely, and persuasively to target audiences.
- Participates in products, solutions, or services training to maintain technical knowledge, active certification, and competence.
- Assists in determining the feasibility of proposal, conferring with customers and technology group to clarify and/or resolve problem.
- Consults on advanced configurations on converged solutions.
- "Sells best of breed" Solutions that include TD SYNNEX services Creates, presents, and executes strategies.
- Performs other additional duties as assigned.

**What We're Looking For**:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical education
- 3-4 brands or advanced technical certifications in 1-2 brands.
- Applies advanced knowledge of technical standards, principles, and concepts.
- Proficient in English (level B2 or higher) required.
- Contributes to the development of new principles and concepts.
- Advanced knowledge of other related disciplines.
- Solves highly complex and unusually challenging technical problems.
- Assignments require extensive evaluation of alternatives and data.
- Solutions are highly innovative and ingenious.
- Is expected to make improvements to technology standards and practices.
- Works virtually independently toward predetermined long-range goals and objectives.
- Assignments are often self-initiated using independent judgment and discretion.
- Work is checked through consultation and agreement with others and only informally from direct supervisor.
- Serves as adviser to management and external spokesperson for the organization on major technical initiatives.
- Actions guide and impact the successful completion of major projects. May function as a project leader.
- Effects of erroneous decisions are long-lasting, require the expenditure of extensive additional resources and will result in the organization's failure to meet objectives.

**Other Education / Certifications**:

- 8+ years with master's degree
- AWS Cloud Practitioner - Desirable
- AWS Solutions Architect - Desirable

**Working Conditions**:

- Professional environment - Hybrid
- May be required to travel 20% to 30% of the time.
- Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.
