Promotes Chevron’s products and services to increase customer engagement and generate demand to drive retention and growth. Manages the process for creating, communicating, delivering, and exchanging value proposition of our offerings to the customers and partners. Analyzes customer insights and competitive intelligence to uncover market opportunities. Develops marketing strategies and plans, executes marketing campaigns and programs.

Supports medium sized clients/customers and makes significant contributions to more complex projects under periodic supervision. General knowledge of the work function and Chevron’s practices.
Owns the training and communications processes for the Fuels business in the Colombia Central America (CCA) region.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

- External Training: oversee the development and execution of training to fuels retailers and their staff in order to support their capability to execute brand standards necessary for our fuels business in the region. This role will also support C&I customer training. Responsibilities include development and management of content, tools, and programs for customer training. The Training and Communications Specialist will coordinate with the Lead Training Specialist of the Channel Experience team to leverage best practices and find efficiencies from training programs executed in the US and globally.
- Internal / Sales team training: Oversee the development and execution of training for Sales team members for each country in the CCA region. Training will enable the sales to perform their sales duties most effectively through sales training as well as training for specific brand programs. Responsibilities include development and management of content, tools, and programs for sales team training.
- External Communications: Oversee the development and execution of communications to fuels retailers and C&I customers in the CCA region necessary to support operations of our fuels business. Responsibilities include development and management of content and tools necessary to communicate effectively. The Training and Communications Specialist will coordinate with the Lead Communications Specialist of the Channel Experience team to leverage best practices and find efficiencies for communications executed in the US and globally.
- Internal Communications: Oversee the development and execution of communications to internal stakeholders in the CCA region. Responsibilities include development and management of communication content and tools.
- General support: Provide backup to and collaboration with the Brand Experience Specialist for the CCA region, as needed.

**Selection Criteria**
- ** Build Relationships** - Demonstrated experience working closely with business to engage on focusing on common goals, offering suggestions and meeting commitments.
- ** Technical Skills** -Significant relevant experience leading training and/or communications programs for a comparable organization is required. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related fields is preferred.
- ** Communication Skills** - Effective written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English is required
- ** Functional Knowledge -**Experience with the retail fuels business is preferred.
