Versar, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to support the USACE Mobile District. This position will manage the relocation of the Peruvian Fleet to a new base. Primary work location is at a Naval Base in Callao, Peru.
**Responsibilities**:
- Coordinate with the United States Army Corps of Engineer (USACE) on the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) case.
- Coordinate the activities of the Peruvian Navy and the design and construction activities that will occur throughout the development of the aforementioned project.
- Coordinate with the involved dependencies of the Peruvian Navy for the access of contractors and the de-conflicting of construction activities.
- Maintain detailed financial records of the New Callao Naval base Construction Project.
- Provide monthly reports at the executive level to the competent authority of the Peruvian Navy.
- Keep the project audit-able files, both digital and printed in a secure area.
- Serve as the single point of contact for the construction project of the New Navy base of Callao-Peru.
**Requirements**:
- Must be a Peruvian citizen capable of acquiring and maintaining a Peruvian Military Security Clearance equivalent to a Top Secret U.S. security clearance
- Speak Spanish with a proficiency of “Native”
- Detailed knowledge of the inner workings of the Peruvian Navy logistics system, Fleet Operations, and the Port of Callao.
- Have the ability to champion and brief the project to the Peruvian Navy Counsel of Admirals. This implies having briefing skills and self confidence to represent the project to the highest level of the Peruvian Government.
- Must agree to reside in either Lima or Callao to be readily available to support the program.
