We are looking for an immediate, full-time, permanent position in Americas at Lima, Peru.

**Job Purpose**:
Support to develop and administer legal processes and procedures to identify and mitigate legal risks and protect DPDHL's legal and business interests in line with business needs, established legal framework, standards, applicable laws and regulations. Responsible for the development, negotiation and drafting of moderately complex commercial contracts and amendments with customers and providers.

**Your tasks**:

- Advice and counsel functional or operational area managers to ensure current or proposed business activities, policies, practices and transactions comply with relevant laws and regulations.
- Follow Peru legislation updates (corporate, commercial and labor).
- Reviews, edits, and negotiates standard and non-standard, moderately complex, customer contracts and amendments (including RFP responses), for Peru and Chile.
- Negotiates and tailors specific contract provisions, within corporate legal guidelines, to address internal and external client requirements.
- Drives consistency in contractual elements of commercial contracts throughout the business through maintenance and use of standard templates and supporting tools (e.g. clause library, etc.).
- Build, review and approve commercial, real estate and procurement agreements.
- Interface and control outside counsel managing litigation.
- Prepare, get approvals and register corporate documents, being responsible for its control.
- Actively participate in the new projects, supporting BD, operations and PM teams.
- Follow up disputes and litigations linked to PERU DSC business.
- May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices
- Support and interact primarily with colleagues of own function
- Build relationships and understand customer and key stakeholders interests and concerns
- Address task-related issues appropriately to maintain work relationships

**Your profile**:

- Bachelor’s Degree
- English B1 B2 (Intermediate)
- ** Experience Level**
- + 2 years of general business experience, preferably in commercial
- Contracting experience
