**About our client**

We are working with a regional fund that has raised close to US$ 350 mm to offer mezzanine debt financing to companies focused on the agribusiness sector in Latin America. The fund is backed by a global leader in sustainable investments—with US$ 3.6 billion of assets under management—and prominent family offices in the US, Europe, and Latin America. Our client seeks a Managing Director to join their team, covering Peru, Colombia and Chile. You will have a chance to play a pivotal role in the deal sourcing and execution of transactions in the agribusiness sector. Our client seeks a hands-on, seasoned investment professional with demonstrated experience in the agri-business sector. Ideally, the person will be based in Lima, Peru but also open to Bogota, Colombia.

**What the job involves**
- Lead deal sourcing and investment initiatives, helping the fund to further expand its presence in the agribusiness sector in Peru, Colombia and Chile and other strategic markets in Latin America
- Represent the fund, meeting founders and owners of potential target companies as well as with M&A advisors, financing partners and other stakeholders
- Manage the transaction process, overseeing all due diligence (financial, financing, legal, fiscal, and commercial) as well as manage external advisors working on the deal
- Maintain open and fluid communications with senior partners and institutional investors

**Who we are looking for**
- Investment professional with ample years of private equity, debt, or investment banking experience, with a key focus on the agribusiness sector
- A rainmaker, someone with proven business development experience and well connected in the Peruvian, Colombian and Chilean markets
- Superior analytical, negotiating and deal execution experience, one who can originate and steer transactions to a successful fruition
- Impeccable communication skills, one who can foster relationships at all levels and with both internal and external stakeholders
- Solid academic track record in business administration, finance, engineering, or related disciplines from internationally recognized universities and bilingual fluency in Spanish and English
