- Glencore Copper is seeking a Senior Lawyer to support the growth and development for our global Copper Portfolio to be based in Lima.

- **The Opportunity**

This position will provide legal support to assets and Lima copper office in contracts (working close with supply). Also to provide other legal support as and when required in corporate affairs and internal investigations.**In this role you will be responsible for**:
Contract legal support for the different contracts required for copper projects/operations in Peru and Lima office.- Contract legal support (disputes).Contract legal support as and when required in contracts negotiation for copper projects/operations and Lima office.Compliance/Internal Investigations.Corporate Affairs.
- General Law advisory in mining, administrative, environmental law, when required.

**About the profile: Your training, skills & expertise checklist**
Lawyer Title, registered in any Peruvian attorney Bar (Colegio de Abogados). LLM degree or any other is optional.- English, high level spoken and written.Experience in contract matters (civil, commercial law) necessary. With knowledge and experience in administrative, mining, environmental law.Knowledge and experience in compliance and internal investigations.
- Previous experience in mining companies or law firms/law boutiques in mining/corporate mining departments.

**Travel requirements**:Travel to sites and other Glencore offices when required.**Competencies and Behaviors required for success in the role**

Good communication skills (english and spanish).
