Requirements:
The interpreter supervisor position
The interpretation supervisor functions as a member of the operations team working directly under the senior operations manager, interacting with interpreters, it support and senior management.
The interpretation supervisor must be good with his/her analytical skills and should be able to manage the staff in a timely manner, provide qa feedback to the interpreters and report to the senior management with the important updates as soon as possible.
Essential functions:
- provide daily leadership to ensure productivity and quality service goals are met.
- supervise staff of assigned interpreters.
- should have first
- hand knowledge of all interpretation protocols.
- should be completely familiar with getting the staff to perform and to assure that goals are met, and action plans implemented.
- coach and mentor contractors based on feedback received through the call monitoring process.
- manage the interpreters record and status while keeping check and balance with trainers, it support and report the necessary updates to the management.
- should be punctual, professional and an efficient communicator.
Basic qualifications:
Experience
- minimum one (2) year of experience in management / lead position / interpreter.
- experience with interpretation role and a previous interpretation lead position is highly preferred.
Education
- relevant bachelor's degree
- license or certification are preferred yet not essential.
