This role will start off as a contract role with a high potential to move into a permanent leadership position given there is a fit and goals/metrics are achieved.
What We’re Looking for:
We’re looking for a fluent English-speaking B2B marketing expert who has a strong track record of building company pipelines and hitting aggressive targets in a rapid and high-growth startup environment. This is a core leadership position where you’ll play an essential role in shaping the trajectory and success of Walt Digital. You’ll need to be our content strategist with excellent writing skills to persuade our customers to change their way of growth using digital marketing. You'll focus on deeply understanding the needs of buyers, not just asking them what they want. You'll create competitive positioning for the product dripping with secret sauce, not just a list of feature differences. Most importantly, you'll create messaging that is as clear as it is edgy and inspiring.
About You

- You’re data-driven and results-driven. You continually learn and improve through rigorous experimentation and measurement. You love to dig into the data to understand trends, generate hypotheses, and scale successful findings.
- You have experience in driving customer acquisition, engagement, and brand awareness through top-of-funnel organic awareness-driving programs.
- You have extensive knowledge of SEO best practices, search engine algorithms, ranking strategies, analytics, and research tools. You’ve developed a proven track record of successfully developing and implementing SEO programs and driving significant growth through organic search performance.
- You have knowledge of WordPress, LinkedIn, Google Analytics, and Content management tools.
- You have a passion for the evolving social media and content marketing landscape; You have deep expertise in the latest social media strategies and best practices across publishing, community management, organic promotion, and analytics.
- You have strong verbal and writing/grammatical skills in the English language.
- You have the innate ability to craft stories and present information and ideas logically, clearly, and with impact.
- Experimentation and data-driven decision-making is a core part of your DNA and you are meticulous about designing tactics and campaigns to drive usable insight as much as they drive results.
What You Will Be Doing
- You’ll develop buyer personas, understand how our service is used, and clarify the business problem we solve
- Creating the killer product positioning and "pitch message" that describes how Walt Digital generates value for clients
- Drive Walt Digital’s web content, Linkedin, and SEO strategy and roadmap with a focus on rapidly scaling organic search traffic and conversions.
- Develop Walt Digital’s social media strategy to support our brand and growth efforts across our owned channels and by effectively engaging in social communities and groups where our audiences spend time.
- Finding decision-makers in relevant business contact information and adding them to a master Excel file
- Work on tracking prospects, appointment setting, and following up on leads the organization provides through our CRM
- Initiate calls to build rapport with key decision-makers to set pre-qualified appointments
What You Won’t Be Doing
- Cold calling
Mass-producing generic messaging - our service offering should solve a specific problem for a particular buyer persona, and your job is to identify that.
- Working in isolation - a significant portion of your day will be spent talking to the Head of Digital Strategy & Relationships, target buyers, and internal teams to develop and train on the core messaging.
Organic Growth Marketer Key Responsibilities
- Writing, testing, and training others on the core product message
- Demand Generation: Plan, implement, and measure multichannel demand generation programs to drive brand awareness, inbound pipeline generation, and accelerated inbound revenue.
- Leadership, Strategy, and Project Management: Work directly with our clients and our internal demand generation program leading execution of our programs.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze performance data and report on results, including campaign results, data stories, and spend recommendations. Rapidly iterate on strategy based on findings.
Revenue Accountability: Be accountable to REVENUE results, not leads.
Basic Requirements:
- 5+ years of marketing experience with B2B marketing experience preferred
- 3+ years of progressive experience in demand generation, growth/acquisition marketing or similar field
- 2+ years leading marketing teams
- Fluent in the English language (written & verbal)
- Strong internet connection & fast computer.
- Demonstrated sense of ownership, project management capabilities and operational rigor
