Your role at Clorox:
We are seeking a results-oriented Accountant to join Clorox's dynamic Andean Cluster Accounting Group. As a key team member, you'll drive efficient accounting close processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide actionable financial insights for strategic decision-making. Your ability to lead and motivate a high-performing team while optimizing processes will be essential in delivering timely, accurate financial reporting and supporting robust internal controls.

In this role, you will:
- Prepare and present the monthly TOP Line for the Andean Cluster, providing actionable insights for strategic decision-making.-
- Analyze monthly Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet statements to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.-
- Partner with the Accounting Manager and Controller to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.-
- Lead all aspects of internal control activities across plant and sales operations to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.-
- Proactively identify and report control deficiencies, recommending corrective actions to maintain financial integrity.-
- Conduct thorough investigations of potential violations of company policies and procedures.-
- Manage audit activities, ensuring compliance with audit schedules and addressing auditor inquiries effectively.-
- Collaborate with auditors to resolve issues and provide clarification on financial data and processes. What we look for:
- Public Accountant with 5+ years of experience in multinational company or equivalent working experience- In-depth knowledge of Peruvian tax laws (retention at source, VAT, Income Tax, SUNAT)- Proficiency in U.S. GAAP IFRS, and financial statements- Proficiency in SAP and MS Office- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Intermediate English level- Strong analytical accounting skills- Prioritization and attention to detail- Ability to work effectively in teams and with cross functional partners
