Credit Collections Specialist

**Position Overview**:
As an integral part of Questel’s Finance - Accounting Team, this role is responsible for the cash collection process for several domestic and/or foreign entities in the Questel Group.
**Principal Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Follow up of the AR aging balance for several domestic and/or foreign entities
- Identify major payment issues
- Prepare the monthly key recovery indicators
- Facilitate the resolution of disputes
- Appropriately allocate payments received from customers to the open invoices
- Provide delinquent analysis bi-weekly and inform management of progress on collection efforts
- Work on special projects and other duties as assigned by management

**Education and Experience**: Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required and at least 3 years’ experience in accounting and customer recovery. Or any combination of education, professional experience, and training provides the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Working knowledge of NetSuite Accounting Software or equivalent software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office - advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, regression analysis, etc.)
- Excellent ten key and data entry skills
- Demonstrate skills in project manager, negotiations and problem solving
- Direct experience in general ledge knowledge, account reconciliation, debit/credit knowledge preferred
- Excellent analytical, organizational and written and verbal communication skills
- Highly developed interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple demands and handle delays or interruptions while maintaining accuracy and timeliness
- Ability to learn rapidly and adapt to quickly changing situations
- Ability to synthesize data for use in reporting and decision-making environments
- Able to work independently with mínimal supervision and as part of a team
- Demonstrated initiative, persistence, ability to problem solve, and enthusiasm for learning
- Detail-oriented, organized, thorough, accurate, and able to work quickly and steadily in a focused manner
- Fluent in English
- Fluency in a second language, other than English, preferred but not required
