**Job Title: Cruise Director**

**Purpose**:

- The task of the Cruise Director is to communicate and delegate functions inorder to ensure theservice on board. This role demands coordinationbetween the Iquitos office, the Lima office and the ship. Leadership isessential in order to exert a healthy influence on the personnel in charge.As a result, the ratings for the given service obtain highscores, evidencedin the comment cards.

**ISMResponsibilities**
- Be responsible for the evacuation of all passengers on the ship in case of emergency oremergencysituations-Supervise compliance with the stipulated system standards

**Key Responsibilities andEssential functions**
- Maintain coordination betweentheIquitos office,theLima office andtheship in orderto exchange information
- Exercise leadership in handling people and situations
- Coordinate with the captain about thevoyageto be made
- Make co-ordinations withthekitchen about the food service
- Send report and requestfor repairstoCD
- Supervise the staffs ́fulfillment of their correspondingfunctions
- Carry out the welcome briefing to thepassengers
- Be aware of food restrictions of guests
- Supervise dinner service
- Ask guests about the satisfaction of the service
- Verify full list of guests
- Welcome guests after each excursion
- Ask guests'about anyrequirements
- Supervise briefing of the program by the guide
- Dothe operational report on incidents
- Establish coordination, communication between the different managers
- Havecommentcards available
- Be in charge of closing consumptions of POS
- Be in charge of boutiquespecial offers.

**Education / Degree**

Technical or Bachelor’s Degree in Administration, Economics, Accountingor International Business or Hospitality and Tourism.

**Experience**

+10 yearsof experience in similar position
