Join Ventura TRAVEL as our next Tour Guide Operations Specialist and help us to achieve our vision: Replace mass tourism with authentic experiences. Your core focus will be finding, training, and managing the best tour guides to ensure world-class operations for our brands

As our next Tour Guide Operations Specialist, you'll be working closely with our tour guides throughout our different brands and making sure the best guiding service is delivered to our valued customers.

You will have the opportunity to be the go-to person for tour guides and internal stakeholders for topics such as departure allocation, trainings, contract negotiations and changes, emergency handling and making sure information is shared and processes are followed.

You will be an active member of a fun team that has a high impact on our tour guides and customer satisfaction. In this small and effective team, you will report directly to our Tour Guide Operations Manager. Your main working language will be Spanish and English.

**_The basics you bring along_***:

- Experience as or extensive work with tour guides
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to focus on few priorities and to say "no" to things
- Negotiation skills
- Experience in giving high-quality trainings
- Flexible time management in emergency situations

**_You can impress us even more with_***:

- Great Spanish and English skills
- Additional language skills in German and/or French
- Experience defining new operational workflows and processes
- Passion for excellence and an eye for detail

- Ensure that our tour guides deliver the best possible service to our customers and take action if you see an issue
- Constantly check if processes are being followed and adapt if needed
- Share tour guide insights after a trip with the appropriate internal stakeholders in order to improve service quality
- Negotiate and sign contracts to have the best tour guides working with us
- Offer high-quality training to tour guides across our brands
- In case of emergency, react quickly, find the best possible solution, and share information with stakeholders
