Room Attendant

We have a fantastic opportunity for a service orientated housekeeping professional to join a luxury boutique cruise line as a Suite Attendant.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- To clean assigned Guest suites, sections, pantries and isolation rooms, following USPH procedures, according to the schedule and instructions from the 1st Asst. Housekeeper.
- Keep assigned lockers and corridors always clean and tidy in accordance with safety rules and regulations.
- Ensure work trolleys are organized and tidy.
- Ensure that all cleaning equipment is properly and securely stored away when not on duty.
- Follow and execute the Housekeeping Sanitation program and complete and update all Sanitation Log sheets as per policy.
- Provide guest turndown service every evening, and to replenish amenities and towels on a daily basis or as necessary.
- Maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor, even under pressure.
- Conduct oneself in a professional and courteous manner, including physical and verbal interactions with fellow shipboard employees and/or in the presence of guests.
- Attend meetings, training activities, courses and all other work-related activities as required.
- Record work and rest hours on the crew portal on a continuous basis.
- Take part in all safety drills and exercises on a regular basis.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Minimum 1 years' full-time Housekeeping experience in a 5-star, hotel, resort or comparable premium hospitality environment.
- Detail oriented with a passion for delivering quality service standards, and adopting successful problem resolution and trend evaluation techniques.
- Relevant college degree/diploma beneficial.
- Very good spoken English
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be in possession of all position relevant STCW certification as mandated by the International Maritime Organization (IMO).

**Contract**:

- 5 months on-board, followed by 2 months of vacation (Junior Suite Attendants will work on a 6/2 rotation)
- Shared cabin with private bathroom facilities
