**About the job**
In this role, you will join our Lima office to assist our Paris Legal Affairs Manager in coping with the constant changes in taxation and regulation, for the sharing economy, in different countries and regions of the world.

We are a limited team with limited resources, that’s why we are looking for people with an adventurous spirit.

In practical terms, your work may span from legal monitoring, to legal advising, maintaining contact and beneficial relationships with the authorities, modifying our online platform or practices, creating or improving new tools or templates for the legal department, informing our consumers, etc.

**Missions**
You will assist on the following missions:

- **Platform compliance**: misterb&b must comply with local regulations on short-term rental platforms, imposed by various jurisdictions (in Europe, APAC and Latin America). It implies entering into contact with authorities (to sign enforcement agreement with) and putting in place new measures/processes such as data-sharing, obtaining business license, listing removal, etc.
- **Taxation**: misterb&b needs to keep complying with the tax reforms affecting the sharing/rental economy. In particular, misterb&b must adapt to the Digital Platform reporting requirements put in place in various countries of the world (in transposition of the OECD model clauses) and to the VAT reforms applied to marketplaces (specially the ViDA reform of the European Union). misterb&b must also prepare to collect tourist taxes in various countries.
- **Data privacy/protection and marketplace/platform framework**. misterb&b must respect various privacy requirements, notably the GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act, and important marketplace frameworks (notably the Digital Service Act of the European Union).

Please note that misterb&b is a fast-paced environment. Missions and priorities may change and evolve quickly, according to legal reforms or cases, and business questions, that may appear at any moment.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor degree in Law (mandatory)
- Specialization preferably in privacy/data protection, NTIC, e-commerce and/or taxation.
- Ability to speak and write in English fluently.
- French is desired but not mandatory.
- 2 years of qualifying experience - especially in the sharing economy, e-commerce and/or data privacy.

Pay: S/.3,500.00 - S/.4,000.00 per month
