- Establish foundational localization workflows by crafting and sustaining a core automation framework.
- Perform analysis of new features and products to ensure they are world-ready.
- Build innovative user experiences and services for international use cases.
- Evolve and maintain our architecture, including monitoring and alerting systems.
- Collaborate closely with a fast-growing team of business stakeholders and product leaders.
- Ensure a highly available and resilient system and foster a culture of excellence.
**Requirements**:
- 5+ years of professional experience building and maintaining systems leveraging complex modeling and data at scale.
- Thrived in large engineering organizations working in cooperation and influencing other engineering teams.
- Excelled in cross-functional teams, working fluidly with Product Managers, Data Scientists, Mobile Engineers, and other highly skilled specialists.
- Experience launching products in international markets and solving associated problems.
- Experience building backend services, platforms, and tools to serve other developers.
- Exposure to iOS, Android, Web, and server internationalization best practices, libraries, and tools.
- Exposure to app localization processes, tools, and best practices.
- Recent hands-on experience coding and reviewing code, and designing and architecting systems and APIs.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills and experience documenting and presenting to technical and non-technical audiences.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Professional programming experience in mobile (iOS, Android) and back-end development (Scala, Java).
- Experience with AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with a TMS, CLDR, ICU, or similar.
